Job Tasks:



  1. Read the court forms for each garnishment order; verify the garnishee's social security number is valid. Data from these forms must be entered in a database. Some text is handwritten and some is typed.
  2. Use a specialized Microsoft Access database to complete electronic forms used in garnishment packages. Complete forms processed and printed from this database and then sent to a payment center via fax (programmed numbers).
  3. Use PCOM system (DOS-based) to process additional garnishment forms.
  4. Contact by phone any garnishee in order to obtain and confirm data before issuing garnishments.
  5. Complete Form 3368 as needed. This is an Internet form required in each claimant's application of benefits.
  6. Track and schedule calls/contacts made to each claimant using Microsoft Outlook. Also read and respond to e-mails from staff, and send e-mails as needed.
  7. Make copies of forms prior to mailing using office copy machines.

  • Justification: This will allow an individual to hear the screen reader for the computer and talk on the phone at the same time.

1. JAWS for Windows Professional Screen Reader software.
  • Justification: This software will enable an individual to access the computer via voice output.

Low-Vision Aids:

1. Bump Dots.
  • Justification: These will enable an individual to recognize commonly used buttons on both the fax and copy machines.

Training:

1. Training on JAWS with the Internet, MS Outlook, and the company database and mainframe.
2. Training on using the basic features of the Genie Pro CCTV.
  • Justification: Proper training on the above technology will allow an individual to competitively perform job tasks.
